Worship
Worship Sunday at Bible Baptist Temple begins at 10:00 am for the entire family.
We offer study and worship opportunities for every age group and every spiritual maturity level. We ask that you dress with a level of respect and decorum due to the Ruler and King of the Universe. We suggest that you consider carefully how you prepare when coming to worship and offering yourself as a living sacrifice to the Lord.
Sunday Morning Sunday School
Adult Sunday School is held in the sanctuary. An in-depth study of the scripture through a dispensationalist, pre-millennial view. Study is interactive and class participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
Young Adult Sunday School is held in the Fellowship Hall and is geared towards a teenage/new believer audience. Study stresses knowledge of basic scripture, what we believe as Christians, and why we believe it. Individual participation and interaction is greatly encouraged in this dynamic study.
Children’s Sunday School is held in our classroom annex and is geared towards an introduction of Jesus Christ to children. Ages range from 4 years old to the pre-teen years. Plenty of activity, stories, and music are all centered around planting the seed of Truth in the young mind to allow the Holy Spirit fertile ground with which to bring each child to Jesus and salvation. -The Faculty
Sunday Morning Worship
Family Worship is held in the sanctuary. The worship service is our opportunity to approach the Throne of God corporately and to offer praise, petition, honor, worship, and sacrifice to Jesus, our Savior. The entire family is encouraged to celebrate this time of praise and worship. At the beginning of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Table and all who are baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ may partake (open communion) of this remembrance of the sacrifice the Lord made on the cross.
Children’s Church is an opportunity for the younger children to be dismissed from the Family Worship (just after announcements) and to participate in a worship service designed to accommodate the different needs of a child who may not be quite ready to fully grasp or enjoin the full worship service.
Worship Service begins at 11:00 AM with Children’s Church dismissed from the sanctuary on or very near 11:15 AM.
Sunday Evening Service
Sunday Evening Service begins at 6:00 PM and is held in the sanctuary. This is an interactive service where the Bible is studied book by book, line by line, and word by word with an emphasis on application. Topical studies as well as seasonal studies are also open fare for this service. Casual dress is permitted for this service where the emphasis is on the Truth of Scripture and defending that Truth in a fallen and dark world.
Thursday Evening Prayer Service
Thursday Evening Prayer Service begins at 7:30 PM and is held in the church basement. This is a time of spiritual refreshment during the long hard week. Where 2 or 3 are gathered together so there Jesus will be also. Do not miss this time to bring your petitions before the Lord and to offer prayers on behalf of others. We are commanded to bear one another’s burdens and this weekly service allows you to fulfill your obligation to the Lord Jesus Christ and to further strengthen the bonds of friendship among our fellow believers. This is a valuable time and one that many more Christians need to take advantage of.
