Updates and Prayer: June 2008
June 4, 2008
Pastor Alton Smith and his wifes’ ministering was a blessing this past Sunday morning. Once again, our folks were able by GOD’S grace to provide them with a generous love offering for their mission field. Pray for Bro. Alton Smith’s health. He suffers from a disorder referred to as Iron Storage; his body can collect way too much iron if he is not careful and this can lead to all kinds of bodily function problems. Read more

Hello Folks!
It was a blessed day this past Sunday as we were able to baptize 5 and add 6 to the church.I was not in “top notch” condition and I knew this was the case even before I began the message.(Folks aren’t used to 20 minute messages from me!) My apologies to every one for not being able to socialize and meet more people. We had around 85 people there and it would have been a golden opportunity to say hello to many new faces. But praise GOD for the new folks!!! To HIM be all glory and honor!!! Read more

Hello Folks!
Sunday night was a tremendous blessing as we were ministered to by the Cacals. We had approximately 35 people present, and were able to present the Cacals with a very generous love offering. It was an exciting time. Weez and I enjoyed their fellowship over “a bite” afterwards. Upon parting at the Jefferson Hotel, it was hard to say good bye! Read more
This Sunday Evening: Missionaries Prospero and Irene Cacal
April 24, 2008
This Sunday Evening we have the rare pleasure of sending off two new missionaries to the mission field. Prospero and Irene Cacal will be leaving shortly for their mission field and wanted to stop by to update us on their progress here in the States raising support and describing further the desire in their heart to minister the Gospel to a dying world.
If you missed them in July of last year please make it a special commitment on your part to visit with them, encourage them, and offer them a place in your daily prayer list. This wonderful young couple will surely bring you encouragement when you hear Prospero preach the Word and he and his lovely bride bring praise to the Lord in song and music.
Sunday evening, the 27th. Please plan not just to attend but be a part of this wonderful ministry.
