Updated For October and November, 2008

Hello Folks! Here are some of the updates for this month (and some from last).
As far as progress goes for Sister Tena, the treatment that was given to her has not made her sick and she seems to be doing a bit better. She has not had as much coughing.
Brother Al was at prayer meeting last night, that in itself says a lot. He sounded and looked a bit better from his stay in the hospital.
Sister Stacy has her eco-stress test scheduled this week.
Any of the ladies who have been or want to be a part of “The Ladies’ Of Prayer” ; Louise would like to get with you and discuss our yearly missionary holiday project.
My brother Denny is back at his normal place (Residence For Renal Care) in Shadyside. The plans for his treatment are unclear at this point. I hope to find some time to get out there and see him. I have not had much time of late, mainly because I worked Macy’s for 5 days this week.
Keep Brother Boyd in your prayers. We have forwarded some of sister Lori’s e mails concerning his current condition to the prayer chain.
Last Sunday night we met and had an intense time of prayer after a short Bible lesson. It was quite refreshing. Try it, you’ll like it! The more, the merrier!
Keep in prayer the Nominating Committee and those whom are lead to serve the church this upcoming year. Our annual business meeting will be held early in December, a tentative time is forth coming.
I believe that is all for now. At this point, I do not have my Macy’s schedule for next week. The place is in a bit of disarray and I am cooperating the best I can with them. All in all, they have been pretty good to me. May GOD bless each and everyone of you richly!
In HIS Peace,
Pastor Don
