Car Collides with House in Clairton

Some of you may have heard the news report that a car collided with a house in Clairton early Saturday morning.  That was my mom’s house.  My mom and the driver (the neighbor across the street) are ok and the house itself does not appear to be seriously damaged.  But it was a very stressful and intense time. She was sitting in the living room crocheting when the car ran down the hillside and into the wall of the kitchen.

The police and fire department got the the scene before I did and I only live a block and a half away.  The towing company got the car dislodged from the front hillside without further damage to the porch and kitchen.  So, many thanks to the all the men who made the accident scene as calm and safe as possible.

If you can keep my mom in prayer for comfort and praise for the Lord that He kept everyone involved safe from serious harm and keeping her home structurally sound.

And if you know a reputable contractor to hire to get her home repaired please drop me a note.  After the insruance companies do what they do I am sure it will be equally as stressful getting the work performed and an honest and taleneted building contractor can be hard to find in these situations
