Hello Folks!
It was a blessed day this past Sunday as we were able to baptize 5 and add 6 to the church.I was not in “top notch” condition and I knew this was the case even before I began the message.(Folks aren’t used to 20 minute messages from me!) My apologies to every one for not being able to socialize and meet more people. We had around 85 people there and it would have been a golden opportunity to say hello to many new faces. But praise GOD for the new folks!!! To HIM be all glory and honor!!!Weez has set me up to see our PCP Thursday afternoon. I guess I have been kinda putting this off. I hope this “thorn in the flesh” is what we expect that it is; if not, I don’t want to think about it!
Today is 36 years that Weez and I have been together in marriage. After she takes Tina to the doctor, we are going to attempt a nice dinner at her favorite place, “The Olive Garden.” A kind, considerate, relative has helped our cause with a gift card.
Keep in mind that we will only have Sunday School and the Morning service this Mother’s Day Sunday. We will have a gift for every mother, step mother, or ” mom like” guardian that is present. Morning message will be “The Mother Of Us All.”
There is a grass cutting sign up sheet in the lobby that only involves around two dozen times that the grass needs mowed. If this chore is equally shared, the burden is much lighter on every one. Also there is mulch that needs to be spread around some trees. Talk to Bro. Joe Julian if you have any questions about helping in these matters.
I believe that is all for now. May the LORD bless each of you richly!
Watching And Waiting!
