Updates For April 2008

Hello Everyone!
Praise the LORD! I received my official letter from the state that I am still allowed to drive.So this settles that matter for now. When I first saw the PennDot envelope, I thought, “Oh No!.” But my fleshly pessimism was proved wrong again!

• Bro. Andy will be preaching the morning message this Sunday; a most challenging and interesting topic, “The Hardest Question Ever Asked!” The evening message will be “The Prophet Prophesied” Pt.2 .
• We are planning a Deacon’s meeting this Sunday at 5:30pm before the evening service. Any of our Deacon’s who have read this or already know about this, could you please send a confirmation by e mail.
• It looks as though we are going to plan our Baptismal Service on the morning of May 4th. This also will be a LORD’S Table service so we will probably do a little rearranging of the order of things. The fellows and I will chat about this at our meeting Sunday evening. I know of a probable 4 candidates for baptism. With these included, this makes 5 church membership candidates. If you know of any one who may need a word of encouragement to participate in these, try to encourage them to do so.
• There are still some copies of our church news letter in the foyer. This is a great idea and was most informative and beneficial as to current and upcoming events relating to BBT.
• My secular work schedule is Wednesday 11am-7:30pm, and Friday 9am-5:30pm. I have been told that next week I will probably be working 4 days as we have a man off on vacation. This is just for your info. I believe that is all for now. May our GOD bless each of you abundantly!
