Updates for September 23, 2007

Hello Everyone!
Well, about this time next week, (the 25th) I will be going for my sinus surgery. I am praying for the trumpet to sound first! May our LORD’S will be done in this matter.

• Sunday morning’s message will be “Lessons From A Guy I Didn’t Like.” Evening message will be “Wait For It.”
• October 9th, Brother Gene is scheduled to have a defibrillator put in.
• Keep in mind the two sign up sheets in the foyer for our Revival meetings on Oct 7th thru the 12th with Tim Thompson. One is for the covered dish dinner after the morning service on the 7th. The other is to provide a meal for Tim and Brittany on their stay with us.
• Angel Food distribution is scheduled for the 29th. There is still plenty of opportunity for additional volunteers to assist us in this edifying ministry. Does our GOD want you to help perhaps?
• If you are interested in participating in our Christmas program this year, we would like to know by the next week or so. Let Brother Tom or Sister Stacey know if you would like to help.
• We are at a point where some additional help is needed for the nursery. Let Brother Tom or Sister Colleen know if you can help to lighten the load a bit in this vital ministry.
• After the morning service of the 30th, there will be a meeting for all Children’s Church staff and to welcome our new workers.
• We will leave the baptistery uncovered for awhile yet. I know of several other prospective candidates who may want to identify with our LORD in this ordinance. Perhaps an encouraging word from you can prompt this.
• I understand also that there may be several interested in a service where they dedicate their child to the LORD. Perhaps we can schedule this for Mid October.
