Updates For Sunday August 5, 2007

Hello Folks!

Several things to remember in prayer in the upcoming days.

• Mrs. D is seeing her doctor today and hoping that he will tell her no further surgery is needed on her eye.
• Randy and his family will be traveling today for a several day get away. When they return, hopefully around Sunday evening, Bro. Randy is scheduled for gall bladder surgery.
• Carrie, who recently received the LORD JESUS as her SAVIOR, has had to be away to deal with a personal matter. We are told us yesterday that this matter may be taking a lot longer than she had hoped.  Please keep her in your prayers.
• Our VBS has gone wonderfully! We know of 9 professions of faith that have been counseled. There is even a possibility of 12 decisions for CHRIST, if we are going by raised hands during the invitation.
• Don’t forget that this Sunday and every first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday were we remember and celebrate the Last Supper of Christ before His sacrifice on the cross.
• There will be no Praise Team Practice this Sunday.
• Last Sunday our Special Business Meeting voted to complete the renovations to the heating and cooling for the Church Annex Classrooms despite the Building Fund Drive not being completed.  The remainder of the funds will be provided by the General Fund and replenished when we reach our Build Fund Goal of $10,000.
• Another order of business presented is the formation of a Constitution Committee to investigate and recommend possible changes, if necessary, to the current Constitution and By Laws.
