Updates Week Beginning July 22, 2007

• Boomerang Bonanza is coming FAST! Contact Brother Tom for your assignment or if you just want to help out.
• Brother Cacal was an absolute blessing this past Sunday evening. Him and his lovely new bride, Irene, are terrific singers, wonderful preachers, and have such a contagious heart for reaching their fellow countrymen in the Philippines. Even though at this time we are unable to add them to our Missionary Support ministry, we were still able to raise a very nice sum of money for their new ministry and we will most certainly add them to our regular prayer list for missionaries. If you missed this event (and many of you did), WHY??? There was no Steeler game on, The Soprano’s has already ended, and Paris Hilton is out of jail. There was no excuse left.
• Please remember that the Sunday Evening Service has been moved back to 7:00 PM.
• Also remember Brother Al and Sister Betty in your prayers of thanksgiving for keeping them from serious harm. The evil one has been relentlessly attacking these fine folks this past year and only our steadfast and earnest prayers stand any chance of keeping him at bay.
• On Sunday July 29th we will be having a Special Business Meeting of the Church to decide on our course of action with regards to the Building Fund. Also a question concerning the formation of a new Constitution Committee will be brought to the floor.

That is about all. The VBS is picking up steam and myself and Brother Tom want to thank everyone for pitching in and helping out. The home stretch is in sight! G’day mates!
