VBS Dates and Curriculum Announced!

If you stopped by for the Angel Food distribution today you got to see the unveiling of our VBS for 2007, Boomerang Bonanza!

The dates will be Monday through Thursday, July 30th through August 2nd.

We are gearing up for a great VBS this year and hope to continue and build on our success from last year where we had 3 professions of faith from the youth of the program! This is a community outreach, not just an opportunity for the congregation’s children to play for a week. This is serious stuff underneath the fun and singing. These children’s eternal souls are at stake. We need to reach them!

Mark it down on your calendar, invite your neighborhood children, invite your cousins and nieces and nephews. Get the children here. This is our best time to reach out to the community, put on our best face, and demonstrate that we have something special to offer: Forgiveness of Sins through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Quick Update to the Site

Hello all! The Angel Food Ministry pages as well as the Building Fund page has been updated recently. Click on the side links to see what is happening at Bible Baptist Temple.

One quick praise, we have seen our first fruits from the Angel Food Ministry last week come to season. A wonderful lady gave her life to Christ as a direct result of the Angel Food Ministry and the diligent ministry of Brother John. Praise to the Lord Jesus Christ and many thanks for allowing us to participate in the Plan of Salvation for the lives of people in our communities.

Pastor’s Update, June 11, 2007

Hello Folks!

We will only have a Sunday School and morning service on Fathers Day (the 17th).
Message will be “Four Fatherly Prepositions.”
On the morning of the 24th, Deacon Ted will be bringing the morning message.
On the evening of Tuesday the 19th, we would like to have a deacons’ meeting 7:30 pm at the church.
If any one is interested in helping with the ministry of providing transportation to our church services, we could benefit. There have been some times that the amount of passengers to pick up is a bit more than one vehicle could do; even in several trips. This could be done in the vehicles of several willing folks, or the church van. We can continue to have the LORD build HIS church, if even a few folks would assist with this transportation issue.

I believe that is all for now. May our GOD bless each and every one of you richly!
