Updates Week Beginning February 4th 2007

Happy 2007 Everyone!

Every first Sunday of each month is Communion Sunday, where we celebrate The Lord’s Table in Close Communion. Close Communion defined is all scripturally baptized believers may share with us the elements of The Lord’s Table regardless of their church affiliation. It is up to the individual to inspect their own lives and conscience before receiving Communion. The Bible rightly states that those who eat and drink unworthily from The Lord’s Table eat and drink condemnation upon themselves.

DUE TO THE WEATHER AND DANGEROUS COLD TEMPERATURES SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE FOR FEBRUARY 4th IS CANCELED.

Today is Bible Day for B.E.A.M.S. and to offer support for their ministry. Please make a donation during the regular collection or visit their website for partner information.

A Deacon’s Meeting is scheduled for February 11th, right after the Sunday Service. All Deacons need to attend this meeting to plan our Spring Attendance Drive.

The Ladies of Prayer Missionary Meeting is also scheduled for February 11th right after the Sunday Service.

The Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Dinner is tentatively scheduled for February 9th at 6:30 PM. We will be dining at Hoss’s Steakhouse on RT 51. Bring your sweetie or wifey/hubby to this lighthearted fun evening.

Wednesday Home Bible Study will begin at 7:30 PM this week. Please call the church office to get directions to the study site each week.

Signups are still being taken for the “Success in Bible Teaching Seminar“. Tickets are regular price now but not expensive at all. Please contact the church office for more details on our group attendance plans.
