Creation Seminar: Swissvale Baptist Church

Swissvale Baptist Church is sponsoring a Creation Seminar conducted by Mr. Al VanOsten on January 13th and 14th, 2007.

Topics covered during the sessions will include:

• Evolution and Creation Models
• Vapor Canopy Theory
• Dinosaurs and the Bible
• Dating the Earth - Where do they get those HUGE numbers?

We are planning a van trip to the event if there is enough interest. Please drop a note to the Pastor or to the Webmaster as soon as possible so we can schedule the time and van appropriately.

Announcements for Christmas Week 2006

Merry Christmas to our extended internet family from all of us here at Bible Baptist Temple!

Remember, for Christmas and for New Years there will only be Sunday Morning Bible School and Worship (Adult Children classes).  There will be no Sunday Evening Services.

The Ladies of Prayer will resume normal monthly meetings this January, 2007.  Please watch here for the announced day, time, and meeting place.

The monthly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast will be January 27th, 2007.

Announcements Week Beginning December 10

Thanks to Deacon Tom Fink for bringing the message this Sunday, “Saved From the Fire.”

Many thanks to Pastor Don and Louise for the wonderful gift of the Christmas Luncheon this year.  They do so much for the entire congregation and yet find time to prepare a delicious meal for all of us.

The Christmas Program will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday December 17.  Come early, the sanctuary seating fills up quickly for this program.

The Men’s Breakfast will resume the last Saturday of January (the 27th).

Update for Week Beginning December 3

Today, and every first Sunday of the month, is Communion Sunday.

The Annual Christmas Luncheon is scheduled for December 10th after the Sunday Worship Service.  This is Pastor Don and his wife’s gift to the congregation, so bring your appetite and enjoy.

December 10th is the last day to earmark offerings for the Whaley Missionary Family.  Pl,ease be generous in your giving to this lovely family.

Deacon Tom Fink will be brining the Sunday Worship Service Message on December 10th.  If you have never seen Brother Fink preach please plan to attend and bring family and friends.  You will leave the service touched, refreshed, and renewed in your Spirit.

Our Christmas Program will be the evening of December 17th.

There will be no Evening Service on Christmas Day or New Years Day.
